MYCONB MEMBERSHIP TYPES
Membership to MycoNB Society is renewed annually. We offer a reduced rate for students enrolled in Secondary or Post-Secondary school and for households.
ANNUAL FORAY: A CELEBRATION OF FUNGI
Join us each year for the fall Annual Foray, New Brunswick’s largest gathering of mushroom enthusiasts. Experience a full day of guided walks, hands-on identification workshops, and presentations by expert mycologists. Discover the incredible diversity of fungi while connecting with fellow members.

- 1Foster public interest in fungi and their ecological roles
- 2Support mycological education by organizing forays, workshops, and learning events
- 3Act as a resource on matters affecting the preservation, identification and appreciation of the fungi of New Brunswick
- 4Identify sites of particular ecological value to work with other organizations and government agencies to achieve their preservation
- 5Research mycological diversity in NB and disseminate the data to government agencies, scientists, and interested members of the public
- 6Actively share information with, and encourage participation from Wolastoqiyik, Mi’kmaq and Peskotomuhkati peoples, as we recognize that the activities of the society take place in their traditional unceded territory
